Maui’s Fork & Salad opens in Orange on Friday, June 21

Why O.C.? An O.C. tourist fell in love with the restaurant while traveling in Hawaii, hit it off with the owners/founders and became their business partner. “John Greenberg [now an owner of this location] came into one of our restaurants and loved the food,” said Travis Morrin, one of three chefs, along with Jaron Blosser and Cody Christopher who founded the concept and have two in Hawaii. “We kinda hit it off and he said, ‘Hey have you guys ever considered franchising this concept and taking it to the Mainland?’ “Originally, we had designed it that way, but at the time —2016–we weren’t planning on doing it so quickly.
