Seth MacFarlane’s The Orville is docking for the season after tonight’s finale. The series is one of the first new broadcast shows this fall to get a pickup for Season 2, so fans will be able to keep traveling through space with Ed (MacFarlane), Kelly (Adrianne Palicki) and the rest in the future. In the finale, the pair starts to seriously reconsider their plan to get back together in the midst of crash landing on a planet from another universe.

The reliably entertaining reality competition returns for a 15th season, which takes the competing chefs through the culinary world of Colorado. Host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, and judges Gail Simmons and Graham Elliot are all returning for a season that will travel to cities like Denver, Boulder, Telluride and Aspen. In the 75-minute premiere, the chefs attempt to impress the judges with potluck and meat-and-potatoes dishes.
The Great American Baking Show
If sweets are more your style, the American version of the British phenomenon returns for its third season tonight as well. The stateside take on the baking competition still has judge Paul Hollywood from The Great British Baking Show but adds Ayesha Curry, Anthony “Spice” Adams and Johnny Iuzzini to the mix. In the premiere, the bakers try their hand at cakes and morning treats.
